Since December 2019, Creative Director Robin Wilde has produced a range of creative content for campaigning site 38Degrees, focusing on issues such as extremist rhetoric in politics, chlorinated chicken, the NHS’s role in potential trade negotiations, climate change, and other issues. These have taken the form of Facebook ads, newspaper wraps, and digital banner ads for newspaper websites. In recent years, he has also produced detailed reports for Members of Parliaments and supported some of the organization’s internal communications work.
MP Constituency Briefings
In 2025 and 2026, ahead of the Labour Party Conference, Robin produced these detailed reports for MPs on public opinion on a range of issues in their constituency. As well as designing the report, this was an intricate technical and data handling task, requiring data merging for over 600 constituencies to produce a uniform design with localised data for each seat. Robin hand-coded a Javascript-based tool to produce charts based on localised data, and then attach the relevant charts to each merged record, producing over 600 individual PDFs to be sent to print and ultimately to help influence MPs. Read the full report here.
NHS Christmas Postcard
In 2020, Robin produced this Christmas postcard design produced to allow members of the public to express support for NHS staff.
ConservativeHome Display Ads
Robin has produced several display ads aimed to Conservative MPs and run on ConservativeHome and the Spectator, aimed at influencing government policy.
We Clapped For Them, Now Let’s Act For Them
Robin supported the NHS United 38Degrees campaign by producing billboard and poster designs used to support a pay rise for NHS staff.
Internal Communications
Robin has produced a range of internal communications materials for 38Degrees, including this internal strategy poster produced in large format during a 2021 strategy review. He has also worked to produce recruitment booklets for non-executive directors to serve on the charity’s governance bodies.
Toxic Politics
This was Robin’s first project with 38Degrees – producing display ads supporting a campaign against aggressive political rhetoric during the 2019 General Election.
COP26 Summit Newspaper Ad
This front page ad was produced for the Congressional edition of the Washington Post during the COP26 summit, aiming to influence Joe Biden and draw attention to the failings of Boris Johnson on climate.
We’re Ready for Our Vaccine
Robin was asked to help with this pro-vaccination campaign in early 2021 during the rollout of Covid-19 vaccines. Produced as a print poster and also as a tote bag, this design aimed to capture a sense of pulling together in the national interest which would be represented by a high vaccine takeup rate.
