Through the latter half of 2022, Creative Director Robin Wilde was closely involved with Abtisam Mohamed’s successful campaign to be selected as the Labour candidate for Sheffield Central. Primarily this work involved developing branding, print materials and the campaign website, but he was also responsible for developing templates for the campaign. In a field of four shortlisted candidates, Abtisam was selected on the first round of voting in December 2022. In July 2024 she was elected as Labour MP for Sheffield Central with a majority of over 8,000, and now serves as the first British Yemeni MP.
Brand Identity
Robin was responsible for creating Abitsam’s selection campaign brand identity, including recommendations for a logo, fonts and colours.
Print Design
Robin was also responsible for design work on Abtisam’s selection campaign leaflets, which included a 4pp booklet delivered to members in the constituency, and a smaller flyer handed out at the selection meeting.
Web Design
Robin designed and developed Abtisam’s selection campaign website, creating a single-page site used to help members get to know Abtisam, and featuring a volunteer signup form used to recruit supporters.
